December 26, 2008, Newsletter Issue #299: Glutathione?

Tip of the Week

In a collaborated effort with a University in Germany, Babor Cosmetics has developed an extremely mild process that utilizes wine yeasts. The process involves removing as much Glutathione as possible from the yeast.

Why Glutathione? Glutathione is the first ever radical-trapping agent which is revived regularly within the body by enzymes in the epidermis. And, the process is so elaborate and gentle that it neither damages nor heats the cells in the yeast—this allows for 60% more glutathione to be removed. As a result, they were able to create the “Selection” product line. Selection is a premium skin care line that focuses on restoring the skin's natural renewal process and methods of defense.

In addition, these products are so gentle that they can be applied to any skin type and used on any individual of any age.
