June 14, 2002, Newsletter Issue #92: Effects From The Sun

Tip of the Week

If you are using topical Retin A (for blemishes) or Renova (for wrinkles), you must use caution in the sun.
If you have had lazer surgery for hair removal, you must avoid sun exposure or wear a high sunscreen (SPF).
A word of caution, women of color should avoid lazer surgery as the skin may be left with areas without pigment.
Any skin that is scarred should be covered with clothing or a high sunscreen.
