There are corrective colors such as green or yellow to be used under skin toned concealers.
A cover-up should be one shade lighter than your skin tone to give you the effect of lightening the desired area.
Once you determine if your complexion is warm or cool, you can then apply the concealer, over foundation, using a synthetic brush.
