January 11, 2008, Newsletter Issue #249: Bronzer in the Right Place For a Beautiful Glow

Tip of the Week

Bronzer can be a blessing, or an unfortunate beauty disaster. Bronzer is not meant to be slathered on your entire face. You don't want a bronze mask, but instead a pretty, "glowing" highlight. Use these tips when applying bronzer:

Use a big, natural hair makeup brush for your bronzer. The focus of the bronzer's placement should be approximately where the sun would naturally hit your face; across the forehead, the bridge of the nose and the apples of your cheeks. Don’t forget to dust a little on your neck and chest too, if those are exposed. If you overdo it and it end up looking a little too much orange, just grab a clean makeup sponge to wipe off some of the excess.
