As I`ve mentioned in previous newsletters, proceed with caution when sunbathing, because of premature aging of the skin and skin cancer.
You can turn your pale body tan, even on a rainy day, with a self tanning product. Some even contain a sunscreen, so you can get an SPF protection while you tan naturally.
Otherwise, you could wear a tinted moisturizer for an allover glow, or wear a bronzer. Apply this only where the sun would (gently) hit your face: cheekbones, tip of the nose and chin, along the forehead.
